無恥教師韓連山（有人唔順）

　　韓連山嘅高足出（粗）言護師，睇下唸位天主教慈幼會伍少梅中學嘅小朋友寫乜……

　　呢種老師同埋學生，真係映衰晒間學校！（仲搞到以後Google呢間學校就揾到呢段嘢，幾醜呢！）

向遺憾說不

　　搞了大半年，中學畢業廿周年飯局將會在本周末舉行，「唔放飛機」的話，有90個同學和12個老師出席，超乎想像！

　　作為多年前全港最多學生的中學，我中五畢業時全級有三百八十多人，可謂「起個字頭」成為旺角社團都得！如今找回四分之一同學出席（加上未能出席者共尋回一百五十人），已經好勵害！

　　如非有其他重要約會或不在港，「主動」不出席舊同學聚會是需要藉口的。每個人的價值觀不同，不便批評別人的選擇，否則又成為了我所討厭的「精英分子」。不過想想放棄機會一次過與至少有五年時光天天相見的人聚首一堂，不覺可惜嗎？

　　多口人會講：「石仔咁熱心搞Reunion，一係佢撈得好掂想showoff，一係佢想打關係揾客啦！」其實我這幾年來「霉」到一份長工都找不到（但又有人見我可憐所以「娶咗我」），找客戶來幹甚麼？（不過搵人入股HappySoccer Fund都好喎！）

　　搞Reunion不是第一次，但我承認今次比較積極。事緣去年我的一位由小學玩到中學的好好好朋友突然過身，悲痛之餘想到畢業後原來彼此竟然只見過數面而已，無限遺憾。

　　我在Facebook活動欄中寫道：「你可能冇乜同學想見，但係其實好多同學好想見到你！」

　　不想再在殯儀館Reunion，向遺憾說不！

　　希望在本周末見到大家。

用有花堪折直需折、蘇州過後無艇搭、悔不當初……都形容不了Yahoo股東的心情。

微軟/Google兩頭空 Yahoo還得付7300萬美元 (ZDNET新聞專區： Elinor Mills 2008/11/12) Yahoo跟Google已談不成搜尋廣告交易，想要找微軟重回談判桌也沒有結果，但更慘的是，為了這些該公司還得付出7300萬美元給外部顧問公司。 根據本週Yahoo向美國證管會的申報文件，這筆7300萬美的帳單包括以下內容： 「在截至9/30日為止的前一季與前九個月分別累積產生3700萬美元與7300美元的成本，這是用來聘請外部顧問，研究微軟的收購提議，以及其他策略選擇，包括與Google的協議、代理人之爭與相關官司費用。」 Yahoo是在今年二月開始產生這筆費用，當時微軟正式提出以31美元/每股來收購Yahoo，之後又提高至每股33美元，但在Yahoo提出37美元的價格後，微軟在五月知難而退。 微軟退出後，Yahoo面臨億萬投資人Carl Icahn所提出的代理人大戰，最後雙方和解，Carl Icahn與另外兩名人士進入Yahoo董事會。 但最近，Yahoo與Google之間所達成的網路廣告合作案也因為反托拉斯主管機構的反對而告終。 雖然這些費用如今都結清了，但還有一項費用會持續，亦即有部分投資人分別針對Yahoo提出訴訟，控告該公司當初不願接受微軟31美元與33美元的收購出價。 微軟在今年二月提出收購提議時，Yahoo股價為每股14美元，現在則為11美元。

　　看國內Blog時多次見到以下這一篇留言，作者似乎是想利用人家受歡迎的Blog來推銷自己，不管是騙子還是瘋子，我仍是很欣賞國內同胞的進取心（不過唔好進取到搞化工食品吖）！

My Letter to RTHK (1st Reply)

　　今日收到RTHK的李小姐來電，佢長遍大論解釋RTHK一向都會登廣告招募撰稿員，我突然一問：「咁你地最近一次招聘撰稿員廣告係幾時同邊張報紙呢？我可以係大學圖書館搵到嘅！」

　　佢停咗一秒，「我遲ｄ查到覆你吖！」

窮寡婦的政治捐款

　　報載：「……莫乃光選舉開支約為28萬元，獲民主黨副主席單仲偕捐贈8000元的辦公室租用費，思匯政策研究所行政總監陸恭蕙捐贈2000元，以及電訊盈科主席李澤楷則捐出200元的電話短訊催票費……」

　　李澤楷以高姿態支持「扮民主派」博得大量見報改善形象，最近更打算「無本生利」地私有化８號仔，賺大錢之餘原來只需「市價200元的電話短訊催票費」而已！

垃圾會查雷曼事件

　　在花了三年零八個月傳召三千八百人聆訊之後，發現癥結問題原來是「一眾苦主、銀行Sales、評級機構、Banker、證監會、金管局以至特首都以為雷曼兄弟係唔會執笠嘅」！

　　於是垃圾會決定傳召出事時嘅美國財長Paulson，問佢點解唔救雷曼！

　　Paulson以字正腔圓的普通話在北京回應：「你以為你是誰？」

　　我真係好想知最後個結果會係乜，printer/copiers會多咗定少咗呢？定係一口氣賣晒ｄ機再開間Xerox Shop玩Outsourcing呢？嘥錢嘥時間！

大學的IT Strategies

　　六月開始在此大學上班，幸運地獲配一台「P4/1.5GHz/256MB/60GB/XP」電腦，令我悠閒的生活態度更加悠閒，因為想急都急唔嚟！（一遇Java即「點穴」！）

　　工作事小，上網投資事大，上星期唯有向IT部門申請加RAM，Helpdesk叫我先去找某高層Approve（加RAM啫又唔係換機），今日終於有IT佬覆我電話……

　　「我地唔可以幫你加到1G喎！」
　　「我冇要1G，求其加少少都好啦！」

　　於是加到512MB……

　　「老細話ｄRAM借俾你試用，睇下performance點先算。」
　　「咁係咪冇改進要收返架？咁我打死都話有啦！」
　　「老細真係話要收返架，不過256上512好明顯會快架啦！你記住覆我老細呀！」（佢苦笑）

　　另一邊廂，IT部門中晒Microsoft毒，係金融海嘯之際開始Upgrade上Office 2007，原因係想用盡SharePoint 2007同Exchange 2007嘅「新功能」。HR部門正準備「再培訓」全大學用Office 2007。（我用過，真係要重新學過！）

　　至於我，係大學內唯一用OpenSource軟件搞「對外Project」的「壞人」！
